Up to four players can join the same town in Pokémon Pokopia.
The multiplayer design lets the main player invite other people to visit and spend time in the created settlement. This complements the game’s building-focused structure, where players gather materials, place furniture, and shape habitats for Pokémon.
Four is the maximum group size, not the number of Pokémon included in the game. Pokopia also has a single-player mode, so multiplayer participation is an option rather than a requirement for completing the adventure.
The official launch information described local wireless and online visits, with each visiting player able to bring a Pokémon along. GameShare can also allow a friend without the game to participate during a shared session, subject to Nintendo’s system requirements.
