The local wireless mode allows multiple players to visit and spend time together in the game’s built environments. Nintendo’s product information lists the local wireless range as two to four players, separating it from the single-player mode and from online play.
The figures can be confused because the game also supports online play for one to four players. The local wireless minimum is two, since a solo session does not count as multiplayer. Pokopia additionally includes GameShare-related functionality, allowing visitors without the game to participate under Nintendo’s stated system and session requirements.
