Up to three other players can join a Pokémon Pokopia town visit besides the host.
Pokopia supports multiplayer visits through the Pokémon Center PC. A host selects the link-play option and can invite friends through an online or local connection. Nintendo describes the visiting system as allowing up to three additional friends to join.
Visitors initially play in Spectator Mode. They can admire the host’s town, collect daily items, and record Pokémon and habitat information in their Pokédex, but they cannot freely alter the host’s creations. Players can also photograph objects and later reproduce them with the in-game 3D printer if they have the required materials.
This limit is different from the game’s headline player count of one to four. The host counts as one player, so three visitors plus the host make four participants in total. Palette Town offers a separate collaborative building space where restrictions can be changed.
