Up to three other players can visit the host in Pokémon Pokopia multiplayer.
This means a multiplayer session can include the host plus three visiting players. Visitors can meet up and spend time in the host’s built environment, making the game’s social features an extension of its town-building and habitat-restoration focus.
Pokopia supports both local wireless and online multiplayer, subject to the required systems, accounts, and memberships. Each visiting player can also bring a Pokémon along, which makes the feature more than a simple spectator mode.
The number is easy to misremember as three players total because the wording describes the visitors rather than the full session. The maximum is three guests in addition to the host. GameShare is a separate feature that can let people without the game participate in a shared session under Nintendo’s conditions; it does not alter the three-visitor limit.
