Up to three other friends can join an online Pokémon Pokopia town.
Nintendo’s multiplayer guidance describes online visits through a Link Code. The host accesses the PC at a town’s Pokémon Center, chooses Link Play, and selects the option to invite others. Friends then enter the shared code to join the town.
Online town visits are primarily designed for viewing and interaction rather than unrestricted construction. Visitors use Spectator Mode, allowing them to admire creations, collect daily items from the Pokémon Center PC, and record Pokémon or habitat information in their Pokédex. Cooperative building is available in Palette Town, where Spectator Mode can be turned off. Players can also use Cloud Islands for persistent shared spaces.
