Six motion-picture award categories were presented at the 2026 SAG Awards.
The film section included Cast in a Motion Picture, Male Actor in a Leading Role, Female Actor in a Leading Role, Male Actor in a Supporting Role, Female Actor in a Supporting Role and Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture.
This count separates the film awards from the television categories. The television section included ensemble, individual acting and stunt ensemble prizes across drama, comedy and limited-series formats. The ceremony therefore covered both group and individual achievements in film and television.
The 2026 event was the first ceremony officially presented under the Actor Awards name, although audiences and media continued to call it the SAG Awards. It was the 32nd annual event and honored performances from the 2025 film and television cycle.
