John Deere pledged to donate 100,000 meals for each home run hit in the 2026 MLB at Field of Dreams Game.
The donation was part of a hunger-relief promotion connected with the event. John Deere committed the meals to Feeding America, with the total capped at 500,000 meals. That cap meant the pledge could cover up to five home runs under the announced terms.
The promotion added a charitable dimension to a game already designed around baseball history and the Iowa landscape. The Phillies ultimately hit three home runs in the 7–1 victory, including two by Kyle Schwarber.
This pledge was separate from the broader MLB Together A250 community initiative. That campaign focused on volunteer hours, while the home-run promotion focused on meal donations for families facing hunger.
