Five investor chairs are normally arranged on the British programme Dragon's Den.
The familiar panel setup places five Dragons in a row facing entrepreneurs in the studio. Each investor can question the proposal, make an offer, join another Dragon's offer or decline to invest.
The exact identities of the Dragons change across series, and occasional guest investors or special episodes can alter the panel. The standard visual and competitive structure, however, is built around five investor positions.
Viewers sometimes count only the Dragons who make an offer in a particular pitch. That produces a smaller number, but it is not the panel size. The question concerns the normal number of chairs available to investors, not how many choose to invest in any one business.
