One Battle After Another won four Golden Globes at the 2026 ceremony.
The film’s four victories included Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, Best Screenplay for Anderson and Best Supporting Female Actor for Teyana Taylor. Those awards covered both the film itself and major creative and acting contributions.
One Battle After Another entered the ceremony as the leading film nominee with nine nominations. Its four wins made it the most successful film of the night by total awards. The story, directed and written by Anderson, combines political conflict, action and family drama.
The number four refers to wins, not nominations. That distinction is important because the film received nine nominations, while Sentimental Value received eight and Sinners received seven. One Battle After Another therefore led both the nomination tally and the film-win tally at the 83rd Golden Globes.
