KPop Demon Hunters won two Golden Globe Awards at the 2026 ceremony.
The animated film received the award for Best Motion Picture – Animated and also won Best Original Song for “Golden.” Its two victories made it one of the ceremony’s most successful films outside the main live-action picture categories.
KPop Demon Hunters is an animated musical fantasy centered on a fictional K-pop girl group that battles supernatural threats. The film combines Korean pop music, action, comedy and fantasy, giving it a distinctive identity within mainstream animated cinema.
The two wins came in separate categories: one honored the film as a production, while the other recognized its original song. Those categories should not be confused with the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, which went to Sinners at the same ceremony. Counting categories rather than individual recipients produces the total of two.
