Five Dragons made no investment in Rob Law's original Trunki pitch on Dragon's Den.
Law presented the children's ride-on suitcase to the full panel, but none of the five investors committed money during that pitch. The outcome became one of the programme's best-known examples of a product that later achieved substantial commercial success without receiving a deal on the show.
The result is often discussed because Trunki went on to become a recognisable travel product. Its later success does not change the original television outcome: the pitch ended without investment from the panel.
The number refers to the Dragons present in that original pitch, not to every investor who has ever appeared in the UK programme. Panel sizes and membership have changed across different series.
