The Lamborghini Urus has five doors.
The Urus is classified as a five-door SUV: four passenger doors plus a rear liftgate. That configuration distinguishes it from Lamborghini’s traditional two-door supercars, such as the Aventador and Huracán, and makes the Urus practical for family and cargo use.
Lamborghini introduced the Urus in December 2017 as a 2018 model-year vehicle. It became the company’s first SUV under Volkswagen Group ownership and its second SUV overall, following the LM002 produced from 1986 to 1993.
The Urus shares the Volkswagen Group MLB Evo platform with vehicles including the Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne, and Volkswagen Touareg. Its five-door layout is sometimes confused with a four-door count because the rear hatch is not a conventional hinged passenger door, but automotive specifications count the liftgate as the fifth door.
