Three customer Lamborghini Veneno coupés were built.
Lamborghini produced four Veneno coupés in total: one was retained for the factory museum, while the other three were sold to customers. That distinction explains why sources may mention either three or four, depending on whether they are counting customer cars or every coupé constructed.
The Veneno debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as an extreme, road-legal sports car based on the Aventador. It celebrated Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary and used a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 750 PS. Its sharply sculpted body, large rear wing and carbon-fibre construction were designed with racing-inspired aerodynamics in mind.
A common mix-up is confusing the coupé total with the roadster production run. Lamborghini made nine Veneno roadsters, so the full Veneno family comprised four coupés and nine roadsters. The three customer coupés were finished in grey with red, green or white accents representing the Italian flag.
