Pokémon Pokopia sold 2.2 million copies worldwide during its first four days.
The launch figure covers worldwide sales and was reported shortly after the game’s March 5, 2026 release. Japan alone accounted for 1 million copies within that period, meaning the global total included substantial sales outside Japan as well.
The first-four-days number is different from later lifetime milestones. The game reached 4 million worldwide sales by March 2026 and surpassed 5 million worldwide sales in just over four months after launch. Those later figures should not be substituted for the opening-period total.
The 2.2 million result also made Pokopia the fourth-best-selling title for Nintendo Switch 2 at the time reported. The exact wording matters: it is a unit-sales figure, not revenue or the number of players.
