How many copies did Pokémon Pokopia sell worldwide in just over four months?

Pokémon Pokopia sold over 5 million copies worldwide in just over four months.

The game launched on March 5, 2026, and surpassed five million worldwide sales during the following four months. That result made it the second-best-selling title for Nintendo Switch 2 at the time reported.

Pokopia had already sold 2.2 million units worldwide in its first four days, including one million in Japan. Nintendo later reported four million units by March 2026, followed by the five-million milestone announced in August.

These milestones refer to worldwide unit sales, not players, downloads, or copies sold in one country. The wording “over 5 million” is also important: it describes a threshold rather than an exact final total. Sales figures can continue changing after a milestone is announced.
