A pathway through the corn connects the two locations, reinforcing the visual relationship between the real game venue and the field seen in Field of Dreams. The MLB ballpark had typical major-league dimensions, including 335-foot foul lines, 380-foot power alleys, and 400 feet to dead center.
The distinction between the two fields is a common source of confusion. The 2026 Phillies–Twins game took place at the purpose-built neighboring ballpark, not on the exact diamond used for filming the movie.
