The refurbished venue used typical Major League dimensions. Its outfield measured 335 feet down both foul lines, 380 feet to the alleys, and 400 feet to dead center.
These dimensions applied to the new MLB ballpark, not to the original baseball diamond built for the film. The separate field was designed to meet professional baseball standards while preserving the appearance and surrounding atmosphere of the movie site.
The ballpark also included windows in the right-field wall. Those openings provided views of the cornfields and the original movie-set field, combining standard game dimensions with the visual identity of Field of Dreams.
