"Candle in the Wind 1997" was released as a double A-side with which other Elton John song?

The story behind the answer

"Candle in the Wind 1997" was released as a double A-side with Elton John's "Something About the Way You Look Tonight." The pairing became one of the most successful single releases in music history.

"Something About the Way You Look Tonight" was a new song written by John and his longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin for the album The Big Picture. It was first issued on its own in September 1997, then paired with the rewritten "Candle in the Wind" just days later. The revised tribute song honored Diana, Princess of Wales, who had died in August that year.

The release was unusual because both songs were promoted as A-sides rather than treating one as a conventional B-side. In the United States, chart rules and airplay later caused the two tracks to be listed in different positions at different points, but they were sold together as one double A-side single.

The single's proceeds went to Diana's charities. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks, sold millions of copies worldwide and became especially associated with John's performance of the Diana tribute at her funeral.
