At which 1924 Winter Olympics was the Fédération Internationale de Ski founded?

The story behind the answer

The Fédération Internationale de Ski was founded at the Chamonix 1924 Winter Olympics.

The organization was established on 2 February 1924 during the first International Winter Sports Week in Chamonix, France. That event was later recognized as the first Winter Olympic Games. The federation was created to coordinate international skiing rules and competitions.

It was originally known by the French name Fédération Internationale de Ski, abbreviated FIS. In 2022, its official English name became the International Ski and Snowboard Federation, while the FIS abbreviation was retained.

The founding body governed skiing disciplines for many decades and later expanded its role to include snowboarding and other snow sports. Chamonix is therefore important not only as an Olympic host but also as the birthplace of the international federation that standardized much of competitive skiing.
