At the 2026 SAG Awards, which category did Noah Wyle win for The Pitt?
Answer
Male Actor in a Drama Series
At the 2026 SAG Awards, Noah Wyle won Male Actor in a Drama Series for The Pitt.
Wyle portrayed Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch in The Pitt, a medical drama set in a busy Pittsburgh emergency department. The series presents the pressures faced by doctors, nurses, and other hospital workers during demanding shifts, with its ensemble structure placing individual performances inside a larger workplace story.
The award category is specifically for an individual male performance in a drama series. It is separate from the ensemble-in-a-drama-series award, which The Pitt also won at the 2026 ceremony. That distinction explains why the same production could receive both individual and cast-based recognition.
The Pitt earned two awards overall, placing it behind The Studio among television productions by total wins. Its success reflected strong support for both Wyle’s central performance and the series’ broader ensemble.
