At the 2026 SAG Awards, what category did Owen Cooper win for Adolescence?
Answer
Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series
Owen Cooper won Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series at the 2026 SAG Awards for Adolescence.
Cooper’s performance was recognized in the television movie or limited-series field, which honors actors in self-contained television productions rather than continuing drama or comedy series. Adolescence was one of the ceremony’s most prominent limited-series contenders.
The category’s title can vary slightly in media coverage. The official winners table used “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series,” while some reports shortened it to male actor in a limited series or TV movie.
Cooper’s win was separate from Michelle Williams’s victory in the corresponding female category for Dying for Sex. The two awards recognized individual performances, not the overall casts of their productions.
