At the 2026 Actor Awards, which category did Keri Russell win for The Diplomat?

At the 2026 Actor Awards, Keri Russell won Female Actor in a Drama Series for The Diplomat.

Russell played diplomat Kate Wyler in the Netflix political thriller, which follows an American ambassador navigating an international crisis and complicated personal relationships. Her performance combined restrained humor, political calculation, and emotional urgency.

The category recognized individual television performances in ongoing drama series. It was separate from the drama ensemble award, which went to The Pitt. That distinction matters because an actor can win an individual award even when their series does not win the ensemble prize.

Russell had previously received major awards attention for television roles including Felicity and The Americans. Her 2026 Actor Award marked recognition for a later-career performance in a contemporary political drama.
