Taylor Swift completed her 2021 Grammy medley with “willow” after performing “august.”
At the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards on March 14, 2021, Swift performed “cardigan,” “august,” and “willow” as a connected medley. The first two songs came from Folklore, while “willow” came from Evermore, the sister album released later in 2020.
Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner accompanied Swift during the performance. It marked the first time the three performed together, linking the production team behind much of Folklore’s sound with the live presentation.
The performance is sometimes remembered as a Folklore-only set, but “willow” is the closing song and belongs to Evermore. That distinction matters because the medley crossed the boundary between Swift’s two 2020 sister albums.
