Greece awarded Taylor Swift’s “august” a streaming-only Gold certification. The song’s certification table lists the Greek award as Gold and records 1,000,000 streaming-only units.
Streaming-only certifications differ from awards based on combined sales and streaming. The table marks the Greek figure with a note explaining that it is based on streaming alone, while many other country totals are described as sales plus streaming. That distinction makes this a more specific fact than simply asking whether the song was certified.
The song also received certifications in Australia, Brazil, Denmark, France, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Greece is the country associated with the streaming-only Gold entry, not with one of the multi-platinum sales-and-streaming awards.
