Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set in which city during the Industrial Revolution?

The story behind the answer

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set in London during the Industrial Revolution.

Released in 2015, Syndicate takes place in 1868, near the end of the Victorian era. Jacob and Evie Frye arrive in London and work to weaken Templar control while confronting criminal gangs, industrial exploitation, and political influence.

The game recreates districts and landmarks including Westminster, the City of London, the Thames, and the Tower of London. Its setting supports new traversal and combat features such as the rope launcher, trains, carriages, and a gang-recruitment system.

Manchester and Liverpool were major industrial cities in real nineteenth-century Britain, but they are not the principal setting of Syndicate. Dublin belongs to a different historical context in the series, while London is the defining location of this entry.
