Assassin's Creed III's protagonist is also known by what English name?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed III's protagonist is also known by the English name Connor.

His Kanien'kehá:ka name is Ratonhnhaké:ton, while Connor is the name he uses in much of the game's historical story. He becomes an Assassin during the American Revolution and works against the Templar influence surrounding the conflict.

The game follows Connor across colonial America, including Boston, New York, and frontier areas. His perspective places the player inside major events of the Revolution while also exploring his Indigenous heritage and his relationship with his father, Haytham Kenway.

Connor should not be confused with Haytham, who is also playable in the opening section and is Connor's father. The character's dual naming reflects his mixed cultural background and is why both names appear in reference materials.
