After "Pulp Fiction", Uma Thurman next starred in what Quentin Tarantino film?

The story behind the answer

After Pulp Fiction, Uma Thurman next starred in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill.

Thurman played Beatrix Kiddo, better known as the Bride, in Kill Bill: Volume 1, released in 2003, and Kill Bill: Volume 2, released in 2004. The two films tell one extended revenge story about an assassin who survives an attack by her former allies and hunts down those responsible.

The project grew out of Thurman and Tarantino’s collaboration on Pulp Fiction. During that film’s production, they discussed the idea of a character inspired by martial-arts cinema, exploitation films, and revenge stories. Tarantino later developed that concept into the Bride and wrote the role specifically with Thurman in mind.

A common mix-up is treating Kill Bill as one conventional two-hour release. Tarantino originally conceived it as a single film, but its length led to a theatrical split into two volumes. The combined story is also known as Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair.
