Answer
Brian Harman
Answer
Brian Harman
Brian Harman won The Open at Royal Liverpool in 2023. The American finished at 13 under par with a four-round score of 271, winning the 151st Open Championship by six strokes.
Harman built his decisive advantage during the second round, shooting a bogey-free 65 to move five shots clear. He remained composed through difficult weather and links-golf conditions, answering final-round bogeys with important birdies at the seventh, 14th and 15th holes.
The victory was Harman’s first major championship and his first PGA Tour win in six years. Royal Liverpool, in Hoylake, Merseyside, had previously hosted The Open in 2006 and 2014. The runner-up group included Jason Day, Tom Kim, Jon Rahm and Sepp Straka, all six shots behind the champion.
