LCD Soundsystem won Best Dance Recording at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards for “Tonite.”

The 60th Grammys took place on January 28, 2018, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. “Tonite” was released as part of LCD Soundsystem’s fourth studio album, American Dream, which marked the band’s return after a long hiatus.

The winning category recognized a single recording rather than an entire album. LCD Soundsystem competed against tracks by Bonobo featuring Innov Gnawa, CamelPhat and Elderbrook, Gorillaz featuring DRAM, and ODESZA featuring WYNNE and Mansionair. “Tonite” ultimately took the award, giving the electronic rock group another major honor during the American Dream era.
