Who voices Mater in Pixar's Cars films in the original English-language cast?

Larry the Cable Guy voices Mater in Pixar's Cars films in the original English-language cast.

Mater is a rusty tow truck from Radiator Springs and Lightning McQueen's closest friend. His informal speech, jokes, loyalty, and enthusiasm make him one of the franchise's most prominent supporting characters.

Larry the Cable Guy is the stage name of comedian Daniel Lawrence Whitney. The performance uses the comedian's recognizable comic style while giving Mater a distinctive character voice rather than presenting him as a generic country stereotype.

Mater appears in all three main Cars feature films and has a major role in Cars 2, where his accidental involvement in international espionage drives the story. He also appears in the short-form Cars Toon series Mater's Tall Tales.
