Who voices Desmond Miles in the main Assassin's Creed video-game series?

Nolan North voices Desmond Miles in the main Assassin's Creed video-game series.

Desmond is the modern-day protagonist who uses the Animus to experience the memories of his ancestors, including Altaïr, Ezio, and several other historical figures. North provided Desmond's voice performance across the early core games, helping connect the separate historical storylines through a single modern character.

Nolan North is an American voice actor known for extensive work in video games and animation. Roger Craig Smith is also strongly associated with Assassin's Creed, but he voices Ezio Auditore rather than Desmond. Michael Fassbender played a different character, Callum Lynch, in the 2016 live-action film.
