Who voices Chick Hicks in the English version of Pixar’s Cars?

Michael Keaton voices Chick Hicks in the English version of Pixar’s Cars.

Chick Hicks is Lightning McQueen’s aggressive rival in the first film’s Piston Cup storyline. He races for Hostile Takeover Bank and uses the number 86. His willingness to crash competitors contrasts with The King’s sportsmanship and highlights Lightning’s own change in attitude.

Michael Keaton supplies Chick’s English voice, giving the character a boastful, abrasive style that suits his role as the film’s principal racing antagonist. Chick’s announcer-style catchphrase, “Ka-chicka,” is part of his deliberately loud public persona.

The voice casting can be confused with other Cars performers. Owen Wilson voices Lightning McQueen, Richard Petty voices The King, and Bob Costas voices the announcer Bob Cutlass. Those actors portray different characters in the same racing world.
