Who voiced Chick Hicks in Pixar’s Cars?

Michael Keaton provided the English voice of Chick Hicks in Pixar’s Cars.

Chick Hicks is Lightning McQueen’s aggressive rival in the first film. He drives a green race car marked with number 86 and competes for the Piston Cup. His defining behavior is a willingness to use dirty tactics, especially when he believes winning matters more than sportsmanship.

Keaton’s performance gives Chick a fast-talking, boastful personality that contrasts with the calm authority of Doc Hudson and the enthusiasm of Lightning. The character’s design also deliberately evokes the look of a late-1980s stock car, helping distinguish him from Lightning’s more modern appearance.

Chick’s role is important to the film’s final race: he wins the Piston Cup after Lightning stops to help The King, but his victory is overshadowed by the audience’s reaction to his reckless conduct. Chick later appears in Cars-related games and merchandise.
