Keane Lewis-Potter scored Brentford’s first goal in their 3–0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur during the 2026–27 Premier League opener.
Lewis-Potter opened the scoring in the 12th minute at the Gtech Community Stadium. Mamadou Sangaré helped create the chance, and the early goal set the tone for Brentford’s dominant performance.
Vitaly Janelt added Brentford’s second before half-time, giving the Bees a 2–0 interval lead. Michael Kayode then scored four minutes after the restart to complete the 3–0 win.
Lewis-Potter’s goal is distinct from the other two Brentford strikes. Janelt scored the second and Kayode the third. Tottenham also missed a penalty through Igor Thiago, but that incident did not change the score.
