Who produced Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.?

Darla K. Anderson produced Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.

The producer coordinates the many departments required to complete an animated feature, including story, art, modeling, animation, technical direction, editing, music, and post-production. Anderson’s production role helped bring the film from its early development through its 2001 theatrical release.

She became one of Pixar’s best-known producers and later produced A Bug’s Life, Cars, Toy Story 3, and Coco. Her Pixar credits span several major phases of the studio’s feature history.

John Lasseter is sometimes supplied as the answer because he was a prominent Pixar creative leader and executive, but he was not the credited producer of Monsters, Inc. Bonnie Arnold and Kathleen Kennedy are producers associated with other productions.
