Lola Tung plays Isabel “Belly” Conklin in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3.
Belly is the central character of the television series and the viewpoint around which its romantic and family conflicts are organized. Tung portrays her across all three seasons, including the final season’s transition from college life toward adulthood.
The actress is sometimes confused with Jackie Chung or Rachel Blanchard, who are also prominent members of the cast. Chung plays Belly’s mother, Laurel, while Blanchard plays Susannah Fisher, the mother of Conrad and Jeremiah.
Tung was among the original series regulars cast in 2021, before the show premiered. Her performance as Belly anchors the adaptation of Jenny Han’s novels and connects the season 3 storyline to the earlier seasons.
