Who plays Dante Reyes in Fast X?

Jason Momoa plays Dante Reyes in Fast X. Dante is the son of Hernan Reyes, the Brazilian drug lord whose criminal empire was targeted by Dominic Toretto’s crew in Fast Five.

Dante’s motivation comes directly from the events of that 2011 film. He blames Dom and his team for his father’s death and for the loss of the Reyes family fortune. Fast X turns that earlier victory into the foundation for its revenge-driven plot.

Momoa’s performance was deliberately different from his most physically imposing roles. Dante is theatrical, flamboyant, unpredictable and frequently treats revenge like a performance, making him a distinctive villain within the series. Jason Statham, John Cena and Alan Ritchson also appear in Fast X, but none plays Dante.
