Answer
Louis Leterrier
Answer
Louis Leterrier
Who directed the 2023 film Fast X? Louis Leterrier directed it.
Fast X is the tenth main film in the Fast & Furious series and the sequel to F9. Leterrier took over after Justin Lin, who had initially been announced as director, left the production in April 2022 after principal photography had begun. Leterrier was hired shortly afterward and completed the film.
The change can cause confusion because Lin remained credited as a writer and producer. He co-wrote the screenplay with Dan Mazeau, while Zach Dean also received a story credit. That makes Lin an important creative figure on the movie, but not its director.
Leterrier had already directed major action films including The Transporter, The Incredible Hulk, Clash of the Titans, and Now You See Me. Fast X premiered in Rome on May 12, 2023, before its United States release on May 19.
