Who plays Antinous, one of Penelope's suitors, in The Odyssey (2026)?

The story behind the answer

Robert Pattinson plays Antinous, one of Penelope's suitors, in The Odyssey (2026).

Antinous is a nobleman who aggressively courts Penelope while Odysseus is missing. He wants to claim Ithaca's throne and becomes involved in a plot against Telemachus after learning that the young man has gone to seek information about his father.

Pattinson joined the film's cast in November 2024 after previously working with Christopher Nolan on Tenet. He was also the only actor in the principal announced cast who requested to read the script before signing on. Antinous is separate from Menelaus and Agamemnon, who are connected to Sparta and the Trojan War rather than to Penelope's group of suitors.
