Who played the character of Roz Doyle? Peri Gilpin played Roz Doyle on Frasier. Roz is the producer of Dr. Frasier Crane's radio program at Seattle station KACL, and she became one of the show's central characters across its original 11-season run.

The role was initially awarded to Lisa Kudrow, but she was replaced by Gilpin before filming began. Gilpin's performance helped define Roz as confident, witty, professionally capable, and considerably more experienced in dating than Frasier. Her quick friendship with Frasier also provided a contrast to his formal, neurotic personality.
