Who played the character Charlie Pace?

Dominic Monaghan played Charlie Pace in Lost. Charlie is introduced as a former rock musician and one of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, which crashes on a mysterious island. Monaghan remained a regular cast member through the show's first three seasons and later returned for appearances in the final season.

Before the crash, Charlie lived in Manchester, England, and played bass in the fictional band Drive Shaft with his brother Liam. The band's one major hit, “You All Everybody,” made Charlie briefly famous, but the group's success faded as Liam's drug use and Charlie's own heroin addiction worsened.

Monaghan was already known to many viewers for playing Meriadoc “Merry” Brandybuck in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. His performance as Charlie combined comic energy with a darker story about addiction, faith, friendship, and sacrifice. A common mix-up is confusing Charlie's actor with Naveen Andrews, who played Sayid Jarrah, or Jorge Garcia, who played Hugo “Hurley” Reyes.
