Who played Frasier's agent, Bebe Glazer?

Harriet Sansom Harris played Frasier's agent, Bebe Glazer, on Frasier. Bebe is one of the series' most memorable recurring characters: a fiercely manipulative talent agent who treats every negotiation as a contest she intends to win.

Bebe first appears in the first-season episode "Selling Out," where she becomes Frasier's agent after hearing him endorse a Chinese restaurant on the radio. Her aggressive methods contrast sharply with Frasier's more principled, intellectual self-image, although he repeatedly relies on her ability to secure lucrative opportunities.

Harris's performance made Bebe especially distinctive through her theatrical voice, seductive confidence, and almost cartoonishly ruthless tactics. The characters often compare her to the devil or Lady Macbeth, and Niles famously describes her as having no morals outside her professional goals.

Harris played Bebe throughout the original series, which ran from 1993 to 2004, and reprised the role in the 2024 Frasier revival. She is also known for her Tony-winning performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie and her role as Felicia Tilman on Desperate Housewives.
