Who is the only bowler to take three IPL hat-tricks?

The story behind the answer

Amit Mishra is the only bowler to take three IPL hat-tricks.

Mishra completed the trio across three seasons and three franchises. He first struck for Delhi Daredevils against Deccan Chargers in 2008, followed with another for Deccan Chargers against Kings XI Punjab in 2011, and took his third for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Pune Warriors India in 2013.

His third hat-trick made him the first player in IPL history to reach three. The achievement is particularly notable because a hat-trick requires three wickets on consecutive deliveries, although the sequence can span the end of one over and the start of another. Mishra's leg-spin and variations made him one of the league's most successful wicket-takers.

Yuvraj Singh took two hat-tricks in the 2009 season, and Yuzvendra Chahal also has two, but neither matches Mishra's total. Another curiosity is that Mishra's three hat-tricks came for three different teams, making the record a combination of longevity, adaptability and exceptional wicket-taking.
