Who is the main protagonist of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare?

The main protagonist of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is Nick Reyes. Players control Lieutenant Nick Reyes, a Special Combat Air Recon pilot who becomes captain of the UNSA warship Retribution after a devastating attack on the fleet.

Reyes leads the fight against the Settlement Defense Front, a separatist military faction seeking control of Earth and the Solar System’s colonies. The campaign alternates between traditional ground combat and space missions flown in Reyes’s customizable Jackal fighter.

Several characters can be easy to confuse with the protagonist. Nora Salter is Reyes’s close friend and wingman, Ethan is his robotic companion, and Usef Omar is a member of the UNSA Marines. All three play important supporting roles, but the story remains centered on Reyes’s leadership and sacrifice.

Nick Reyes is voiced and performed by actor Brian Bloom. His promotion from pilot to commanding officer is one of the campaign’s central character arcs.
