Who is the lead singer of Radiohead?

Thom Yorke is the lead singer of Radiohead. He also writes many of the band's songs and plays guitar, keyboards, and other instruments.

Radiohead formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in 1985, originally performing under the name On a Friday. The group became known internationally after the 1992 single "Creep," although its later albums, including OK Computer and Kid A, moved toward more experimental art rock and electronic sounds.

Yorke is often recognized for his distinctive falsetto and emotionally intense vocal style. He is sometimes confused with Jonny Greenwood, Radiohead's lead guitarist and another major creative force in the band. The other members are Colin Greenwood on bass, Ed O'Brien on guitar and backing vocals, and Philip Selway on drums. Yorke has also released solo albums and performs with the band The Smile.
