Who is Jin Kazama's father in the Tekken story?
Answer
Kazuya Mishima
Answer
Kazuya Mishima
Jin Kazama’s father in the Tekken story is Kazuya Mishima. Jin is the son of Kazuya and Jun Kazama, making him a central link between the Mishima and Kazama families.
Jin first appeared in Tekken 3, where he was introduced as a teenager seeking training from his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. Heihachi presented himself as an ally after Jun’s apparent death, but later betrayed Jin in an attempt to awaken the Devil Gene in his body. That betrayal helped define Jin’s opposition to the Mishima family.
Jin inherited the Devil Gene from Kazuya, and the father-son relationship becomes one of the series’ main conflicts. Their rivalry drives much of Tekken 7 and Tekken 8, although Heihachi is Jin’s grandfather—not his father. Lee Chaolan is Kazuya’s adoptive brother, while Lars Alexandersson is another Mishima family relative, so neither is Jin’s biological father.
