Who is Calvin Broadus?

Calvin Broadus is Snoop Dogg, the stage name of American rapper, singer, producer, actor, and entrepreneur Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.

Born on October 20, 1971, in Long Beach, California, Broadus rose to prominence in the early 1990s after Dr. Dre featured him on the 1992 album The Chronic and the soundtrack song “Deep Cover.” His relaxed delivery and distinctive voice quickly made him one of the defining figures of West Coast hip-hop.

His debut album, Doggystyle, arrived in 1993 and became a major commercial success, producing recognizable tracks such as “Gin and Juice” and “Who Am I?
