Who introduced Georgia O'Keeffe's abstract drawings to Alfred Stieglitz?

The story behind the answer

Anita Pollitzer introduced Georgia O'Keeffe's abstract drawings to Alfred Stieglitz. Pollitzer, a friend and former classmate of O'Keeffe, showed the drawings to Stieglitz at his New York gallery, 291, in 1916.

Stieglitz was an influential photographer, gallery owner, and promoter of modern art. He exhibited O'Keeffe's work before meeting her in person, helping bring her drawings to the attention of New York’s avant-garde art community.

This introduction became a turning point in O'Keeffe’s career and personal life. Stieglitz later became her husband, although their relationship included major artistic and personal tensions and a substantial age difference.
