Jonathan Liebesman directed the 2014 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The movie was a reboot of the film franchise and used computer-generated Turtle characters with performance capture. It starred Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, William Fichtner as Eric Sacks, and Tohoru Masamune as Shredder. The story reintroduced the team to a modern audience while retaining familiar elements such as the sewer home, Splinter, and the Foot Clan.
