Who composed the musical score for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny?
Answer
John Williams
Answer
John Williams
John Williams composed the musical score for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Williams wrote the music for all five Indiana Jones feature films, making the series one of his longest-running collaborations with director Steven Spielberg and producer George Lucas. For Dial of Destiny, he returned to the familiar heroic Indiana Jones theme while also creating new material for Helena Shaw and the film’s historical settings.
The score helps connect the 2023 film to the earlier adventures. The recurring “Raiders March,” first heard in Raiders of the Lost Ark, remains the musical signature of Indiana Jones, while the newer themes reflect the film’s older, more reflective version of the character.
Williams was already a celebrated composer before the franchise began. His other major film scores include Jaws, Star Wars, Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and Jurassic Park.
